Visiting dog friendly farms in New Jersey is the perfect way to spend time outdoors this Autumn while supporting local businesses. We’ve compiled a list of our favorite dog-friendly farms and apple orchards where you can get a fix for fresh apple cider and donuts while hanging with your favorite furry friend.

Ort Farms in Long Valley provides four seasons of fresh farm goods on 400 acres. Windy Brow Farms in Newton has a wide variety of fresh baked goods, fresh produce, pick your own pumpkins & apples, hayrides and more. Hacklebarney Farm Cider Mill in Chester was featured on NJ.com for their delicious cider donuts, hot dogs, and ice cream floats. Secor Farms in Mahwah has hayrides and a pumpkin patch filled with Halloween decorations that look great for the ‘gram. Hundreds of mums in full bloom available for purchase. There’s also a petting zoo for small children with adorable goats and other small farm animals. Check out their market for local produce, pies, homemade apple cider, candy apples, and more. Burnt Mills Cider Company While this beautiful farm doesn’t have apples for picking, it certainly has plenty of them for drinking! Inside you’ll find a selection of delicious and seasonal hard ciders sold by the pint, ½ pint or a flight of four 4oz tasters. Tours are available in the tasting room.
